Shipping policy
The Tanpopo Room ships domestically within Japan and Internationally*.
Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed for shipping. I make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible!
Delivery normally takes 5-14 Business Days depending on region and customs.
All orders are shipped via Japan Post or Fedex/DHL that is tracked and insured.
We are unable to ship during Japanese national holidays and year-end and New Year holidays, as the carrier is closed.
About International Shipping
We offer international shipping to most countries*.
However, there are some locations we are unable to ship to.
When the item is large or oversize, we may need to request more shipping fee.
We will email you to ask whether you would still like to proceed with the order with a new estimated shipping fee.
Delays can be expected due to weather, custom clearances and/or the COVID-19 pandemic, these are out of our control so please be understanding.

Customs & Import Duties
Any import duties and taxes are charged once the parcel has reached the destination country and these charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.
We are not in charge or in control of these charges as customs policies vary by country. If you have any questions related to customs charges, we kindly ask you to contact your local customs office.
(!) VAT is charged by each EU country as well.
We recommend you check online and keep this in mind when ordering.
I want it shipped to a friend's or a hotel's address in Japan
Sorry, but to prevent of fraudulent use of our sales and services, we are unable to ship to locations other than the billing address matching with your name.
If you insist, please make sure that the payment is also made on the friend's account. All gifts order must be shipped to the billing address as well
We will cancel any shipments to a location different from the billing address.
